A woman has been arrested and charged after allegedly spitting at a Garda in Dublin.
She then told officers she had been tested for the coronavirus and was waiting for the results.
This public order and assault incident happened at around 6.20pm yesterday at St Attracta Road in Cabra.
A woman approached a marked Garda car and began banging on the vehicle and shouting.
When a Garda got out, the woman allegedly spat at the officer and told them she was waiting for test results for the coronavirus.
A woman in her 30s was arrested at the scene and taken to Blanchardstown Garda Station.
She has since been charged in connection with the incident and will appear before Dublin District Court this morning.
