A woman has been arrested in Inchicore after Diamorphine worth €420,000 was seized.
Gardai stopped and searched the woman on Tyrconnell Road yesterday just before 5pm.
Approximately three kilos of the drug was discovered and will be sent for analysis.
The woman in her 40s is being questioned at Kevin Street Garda Station where she can be held for up to a week.

A Garda spokesperson says: "As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí have seized €420,000 of Diamorphine following stop and search of a woman in Inchicore, Dublin 8 on Tuesday the 12th April 2021.
"At approximately 4:50pm, Gardaí from the DMR South Central Divisional Drugs Unit stopped a woman on Tyrconnell Road and conducted a search of a woman. Approximately 3kg of Diamorphine was recovered during the search. The drugs seized will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
"The woman aged in her 40s, was arrested and taken to Kevin Street Garda Station where she is currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. She can be held for up to a total of 7 days."
