Three Premier League clubs have been busy in the transfer market but Wolves will have to wait for new signing Leonardo Campana to join up with the squad.
The 19-year old Ecuador international striker has signed for the Nuno Espirito Santo's side on a three-and-a-half-year deal for a nominal fee but will be in action with his nation in the pre-Olympic Championship for the next few weeks.
Campama comes in from Ecuador club Barcelona SC and believes he can become a goalscorer in the English top-flight.
"My goal is to earn my place on the pitch and to try to play in every game," said Campana.
"I want to do my job, which is to score goals, to play well and be a team player to help the team win – as that is what we all want to happen."
Former Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is making a return to the Premier League after being signed on loan by Newcastle United from Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04.
The 25-year-old Algeria international will play with the St James' Park club until the end of the season at which point there is an option to make the deal permanent for a transfer fee of £8.5 million.
Magpies boss Steve Bruce has been a long-time admirer of the player.
"He's somebody who I paid particular attention to when he was at Spurs, when he broke through and got a big-money move to Germany," said Bruce.
"He's played at the highest level now for the last four or five years, but he will come in hungry and feeling he has something to prove and will give us the competition we obviously need."
High-flyers Sheffield United have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Jack Robinson [main photo] from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee.
The defender, who started his career with Liverpool, has signed a two-and-a-half year deal.
"Jack’s got a great pedigree and he will make our squad stronger," Blades boss Chris Wilder told the club’s official website.
"But he isn’t just coming in to make the numbers up, it’s a specific position in our system and we feel he is the best option for us at this time.
"Jack can comfortably play in a couple of roles and we’re delighted to add him to the group. He’s got a fantastic attitude and he’s ambitious to earn a place in the team."
