Gardaí are investigating the serious assault of a woman that happened in the Sandycove area of south Dublin last month.
She was attacked shortly after midnight on Monday 25th May in the vicinity of the seafront.
Gardaí are appealing to walkers or runners, taxi drivers, delivery drivers or anyone who was in the Sandycove area, particularly along the seafront walkway, between 12am and 1:30am that night to come forward.
Detectives say they are particularly interested in speaking to a lone white male, of average build, approximately 5’7”, with dark hair, who was wearing a hoodie who was reported to be in the area at the time.
