Met Eireann has issued a wind warning for the entire country.
The status yellow alert will come into effect tomorrow (Wednesday, December 18th) at midday until 23.59 tomorrow night.
"Southeast winds, later veering southerly will gust 90-110km/h on Wednesday, strongest in coastal areas", the forecaster states.

Meanwhile, status yellow rain warning has been issued for eight counties tomorrow.
The alert for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford will be in place from 4am until 7pm.
Rainfall accumulations of 30-40mm are expected with the risk of localised flooding.
Dublin Forecast
Wednesday will start dry. Freshening southeast winds will bring thickening cloud. Rain will spread from the southwest through the afternoon.
Heavier rain is expected tomorrow evening. It will be a little milder with afternoon temperatures of 8 or 9 degrees.
Southeast winds will be fresh and gusty with gales along coasts.
Wednesday night will be wet at first but showers will clear northwards. A few patches of mist and fog will form Overnight lows of 5 to 7 degrees.
Changeable weather with rain or showers and good dry periods are expected across Ireland over the coming days.
