Hairy legged folk are being encouraged to wax it off for charity. The 'SMOOTH RIDERS' charity leg wax is part of the Cycle Against Suicide event, which is taking place later this month.
One Saturday September 16th, ŠKODA will be setting up a waxing studio in its Sandyford base with the help of waxing expert Ellen Kavanagh and her team from 'Waxperts'.
For every person that gets a leg waxed at the special event, ŠKODA will donate €50 to Cycle Against Suicide.
The company, which first started to make bikes in 1895, wants to reach €5,000 for Cycle Against Suicide to fund their transition year programme.
Noel Mostyn, Chairman of Cycle Against Suicide, said "We plan to put the money that ŠKODA donate towards our programme for transition year students, so we can raise mental health awareness in secondary schools across Ireland."
Mark Mulvaney, PR Manager at ŠKODA Ireland, said "We're calling on everyone to get on board and help us reach the target. So be brave, bare your legs and help us to raise as much money as possible!"
The ŠKODA 'SMOOTH RIDERS' charity leg wax takes place on Saturday 16th September in Spirit ŠKODA, Sandyford, from 11am. You can register to take part here.
