Cheryl Cole has turned up to Kimberley Walsh's book launch “A whole lot of history” but funnily enough, there was so sign of Nadine Coyle. In the book Kimberley reveals how shocked Girls Aloud were a few years ago to discover Nadine had secretly hired a manager with the plan of going solo without even discussing it with her bandmates.
There was also no sign of the other Girls Aloud gang – Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts. Nicola was busy working away in the studio but did tweet her best wishes to Kimberley. Kimberley has said with or without the group, she knows she would've always been great pals with Cheryl and Nicola.
“It's a funny one – you've got 5 people that are thrown together and just like for example people who are working together in an office, sometimes you work together really well but in terms of wanting to socialize with them every night and really connect on a personal level, it won't happen with all 5 people”.
She says Louis Walsh ditched them as their manager at the first sight of trouble saying “To say he wasn't hands-on was a slight understatement. He can't deny it. He basically vanished off the face of the earth. Basically when Cheryl got caught up in the whole incident in the club, from that night on, that was it but we were on our own anyway”.
