LeAnne Rimes was been forced to cancel her Dublin Vicar Street gig last night due to a painful cough. She was admitted to A & E in an undisclosed Dublin hospital after telling her twitter followers she could no longer deal with the intense cough spasm, saying, “Never thought I'd see the ER in Dublin. I have coughed myself into pain. The spasm is intense. Being human sucks sometimes.” Later, LeAnn tweeted a photo of a whiteboard provided by her hotel to help her communicate.
Many disappointed fans had bought tickets for the show but got only a couple of hours' notice of the cancellation of the gig. But it's clear poor Leanne is in bits, she's currently resting up. 98Fm spoke to Leanne before her Dublin trip and she was so excited about coming over, such shame the gig didn't go ahead, “It's been a while since I've been in Ireland. It's one of my favourite places in the world. I've a lot going on, so even though I'm going to be very busy over there, I'm looking forward to a change of pace, maybe I won't have so much to do during the day so I can slow down and enjoy everything.”
