30 free concerts will take place in Temple Bar this week, for TradFest.The artists who will perform in this year's Front Row Sessions will be The Dublin Legends, Eleanor McEvoy, Mundy, Paddy Casey and The Kilkennys. The gigs will take place on Thurs Jan 29, Fri Jan 30 & Sun Feb 1.
This is the 10th annual TradFest Temple Bar. It first appeared in 2005 as something of a modest proposal - a small niche traditional music festival, and a first for Dublin. The intervening years have seen TradFest become something quite special - a festival showcasing the cream of both Irish and international trad and folk artists while also providing a springboard for the next generation of Irish musicianship.
