Taking place from 2nd – 3rd November, the city is ready to come alive after five!
The Dublin by Night Fest fun activities are spread across the Liffey, with the city's north and south sides celebrating. Thursday night will see the excitement take place on Drury Street and South William Street while Friday night entertainment will roll into bustling Capel Street.
The event has been designed so that there’s something for everyone. From cultural showcases and performances live on the streets to spooky storytelling on the famous Ghostbus, to music, dance and food, this is a real celebration of Dublin culture.

Be ready to be amazed by circus performers showing off their acrobatics and tricks. Watch out for the live six-piece brass band and a samba live percussion from Morro 16 and enjoy the soulful tunes of busker performances, including the talented Kylabelle and Sam Clifford. And as the evening progresses there will be some very cool performances from live bands including Isaac Butler and Shakalak.
The food lovers can stop by the food stalls where some of Dublin’s well-loved eateries from the local areas will be showcasing their tasty delights. You can have a bite from Il Fornaio, Nutty Delights, Marrakesh by Mindo, Bah 33, Asia Market, Smokin Bones, and Sole Seafood & Grill. These will be accompanied by live cooking demonstrations from top Dublin Chefs including culinary director of Fire Steakhouse and Sole Seafood and Grill, Richie Wilson and Niall Smyth Head Chef of Krewe Capel Street. These chefs will be cooking up a storm and will be offering a real taste of Dublin.

As the night continues and music fills the air, you can browse through the market stalls. Visit The Great Outdoors for your outdoor adventures, buy beautiful jewellery at Bombay Banshee, check out Lush Cosmetics for an iconic scent, and stock up on quirky collectables at Padison & Yule. From jewellery to gifts to the latest trends, the night market has so many pieces to enjoy, and right on the doorstep of the treasure trove that is the Georges Street Arcade that is staying open late specially for the event.
One of the main highlights to look forward to is the outdoor movie screening on Capel Street on Friday night.
Last year the Drag Artists from the George were a big hit. This year the Dublin by Night Fest will include special performances from the Outing Queer Arts Collective performers, drag artists, and Isteach is Amach trad musicians who have performed in The George, Panti Bar, Dublin Pride and St Patrick's Day parade.
So, mark your calendars for Thursday, 2nd November, at Drury Street and South William Street from 6 pm to 10 pm, and then the very next night on the Northside to Capel Street on Friday, 3rd November, from 6 pm to 10 pm.
