You soon won't have to go to Greystones for The Happy Pear experience. David and Stephen Flynn are set to open their first Dublin cafe and food shop next week.

The company's flagship store, which will be located in the new Round Tower Visitor Centre in Clondalkin village, will open on Monday July 3rd.

The development is set to feature a terraced dining area, public garden, exhibition and gallery spaces.

The company announced the opening date on Facebook this afternoon.

Speaking previously about the exciting news, The Happy Pear co-founders and directors, David and Stephen Flynn said:

"This is a really great development and this collaboration is a very exciting move for our business. We’re really delighted to be bringing The Happy Pear to this incredible new centre, which is rich in history and culture and will provide a real focal point for the village.

We’re really looking forward to making healthy food even more accessible in South Dublin County and to making a positive impact on the local community and economy, by providing exciting new employment opportunities. We can’t wait to open the doors and meet everyone from the community, and of course breakfast is on us – we’ll continue our long-standing tradition of providing free, organic porridge every morning in the new cafe."
