Lorna Simpson was the first act to be voted off the XFactor last night after two of Sharon Osbourne’s Over 25’s found themselves in the bottom two. Things weren’t looking for great when Nicole Scherzinger told Lorna she didn’t remember her from the original auditions and then when it came to the sing-off, Sharon didn’t even know her surname and she was mentoring her!
Lorna sang Faith Hill’s “There You’ll Be” in the sing-off against Shelley Smith.
The XFactor is feeling like a carbon copy of last year though – this time last year, Carolynn Poole was booted off on the first live show too after singing Faith Hill’s “There You’ll Be” in the sing-off. Maybe it’s the song that’s doomed!
