This is the perfect way to kick off the festive season!
The 18th Annual Aware Christmas 5k is taking place at the Leopardstown Racebook on Saturday the 9th of December.
Over 2,000 people expected to take on the 5K festive challenge, raising funds for Aware’s vital services.
It's the first in-person event since 2019, with options to take part virtually for those who don't live in the Dublin area.
It promises to be a great day of festive fun for all with hourly 5Ks, live entertainment, food trucks, kids’ races and play area. Festive attire is encouraged, and all are welcome from walkers to runners. Each participant will receive a custom medal, which doubles as a Christmas tree ornament, for their efforts.
The event will take place Leopardstown Racecourse on Saturday the 9th of December, kicking off the chipper & timed race at 9.30am. For those who are less concerned about their time, there are hourly 5K options thereafter. Participants can select their preferred race time during the registration process.
