Maclean Burke is the latest candidate to be fired from "Celebrity Apprentice". The Fair City actor told 98FM how the show would've been over within 2-3 weeks only for Caroline Desmond split up the teams. The boys couldn't compete with the girls.
He also revealed how their mobile phones and wallets were confiscated before each task so it wasn't as easy as it may seem to the viewer to call in their contacts for help.
The main reason Maclean agreed to do the show was to try and raise funds for his good friend Johnny Hayden who has been left paralyzed after a routine operation on his back. Rehab costs have spiralled out of control and Mac is desperate to help out this family in need.
