Mel B will make a cameo on Coronation Street this Christmas. An insider told The Sun: ''It is a cameo but she will be playing a character who isn't connected to her personally. It will be Mel — but not as we have seen her before. It is fair to say there will be a lot of walking along the cobbles.'
The one off special is for ITV's Text Santa charity appeal. Last year, Mel's X Factor pal Cheryl Fernandez played herself when she popped into the Rovers for the festive episode.
