Like movies and music? You'll love this! Smithwick's have announced an exciting new music experience called ‘Smithwick’s Soundtrack Series’. The special series of gigs will see two of Ireland’s best live music acts, BARQ and Le Galaxie, reveal their contemporary take on two of the most memorable soundtracks of all time; Pulp Fiction and Apocalypse Now.
The tour, which takes place in October and November, will see the bands in some of Ireland’s favourite music venues across Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Limerick and Sligo.
The Smithwick’s Soundtrack Series gigs will be supported by music writer/DJ Nialler9 and DJ Sally Cinnamon. Additionally, Nialler9 has created a bespoke playlist featuring notable movie soundtrack tunes that he and Sally will unveil as the series progresses.
The exciting news was announced in Whelan's last night. Le Galaxie will kick off the Smithwick's Soundtrack Series in the Wexford Street venue on October 13th.
