Not like Russell Brand to hold back. At the GQ Awards last night he caused serious controversy by claiming that the founder of Hugo Boss was a “Nazi”. Russell picked up the Oracle of the Year award at the ceremony, but he referred to the history of sponsors Hugo Boss – who formally apologised in 2011 for their maltreatment of Polish and French workers – and their founder, who became a member of the National Socialist Party in Germany in 1931. Russell also made light of his award when he took to the stage. Before hand he told reporters that he had a man crush on Noel Gallgher his mate who he sat beside at the ceremony….
