Great news for fans of this musical!
Wicked The Musical is flying back to Dublin next year. The West End and Broadway musical phenomenon will be running in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from Tuesday 23 July to Sunday 15 September 2024.
If you're not familiar with the plot of Wicked, it tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz. How Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba had a history together and were even once friends. It's been running in London's Apollo Victoria theatre since it opened in 2006, making it the 12th longest-running production in West End History.
When it comes to Dublin it will take over 100 people on-stage and behind the scenes to deliver performances of the award-winning touring production.
According to the press release the tour will still feature all the celebrated spectacle, magic, technical wizardry, more than 350 stunning costumes, and has been described as “every bit the West End show”.
If you're looking to defy gravity next year tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster next Friday (31st of March) at 9am.
