Last night Queen Elizabeth invited a select few Irish representatives to come to a reception in Buckingham Palace. Included in the mix were Niall Horan, Pauline McLynn, Imelda May, Louis Walsh, Orla Kiely and Cork fishmonger Pat O’Connell.
The event was held in advance of President Michael D Higgins visit next month. It will be the first time for a head of the Irish Head of State to visit.
