Meet The Finalists For Best Salon

The countdown is on to 98FM’s Best of Dublin Awards. It's been our biggest year yet with over 750,000 votes cast for our 2017 finalists over the past fortnight.

The winners will be announced at our exclusive awards ceremony, which celebrates everything great about our city, on Tuesday May 23rd at The RDS.

Meet the nominees for Best Salon:

Di Milo Hair Design 

Di Milo Hair Design opened in 2006 over Café Java in Donnybrook and expanded to a bigger D$ premises in 2013.

The team take pride in providing a five star service while keeping the village feel. 

Jean and all the gang at Di Milo are delighted to be finalists in this year's Best of Dublin Awards:

"We are thrilled and so grateful for the nomination and to be included. It's such an amazing honour to get the feedback from all our fantastic and supportive clients. We are really pinching ourselves."

Elite Extensions 

Located in Northern Cross Business Park in Finglas, Elite Extensions is a family run business. Gerry the owner employs four sisters and two friends. 

They are a hair extension supply shop as well as a fully equipped salon.

"We are absolutely thrilled to be nominated. To have the salon recognised and to know people have gone out of their way to nominate us makes us really proud. We are launching some new products this year and to win will be an amazing platform for us."

Jule Beauty

Jule Beauty opened its first salon in 2008 in Malahide with just five therapists. They now employ a team of 50 across fours salons in Malahide, Swords, Ashbourne and Grand Canal Square along with a Training Academy in Swords.

The team at Jule Beauty have told 98FM what being a finalists means to them:

"We are so proud of our therapists for getting us to the finals and are immensely grateful to all of our clients who voted for us. We'd also like to thank 98FM for creating an event that showcases the best of Dublin."  

Red Velvet Hair Salon

The first Red Velvet Hair Salon opened in Ballyboughal nearly 9 years ago. They now also have salons in Malahide and Crumlin. 

Working as a team and going above and beyond for every customer is extremely important to the staff in each salon.

Speaking to 98FM, the Red Velvet team said:

"It means the world to us to be nominated. We'd like to thank our amazing clients for their votes. We are overwhelmed by everyone's lovely comments and posts."

Beautique Beauty Salon, Walkinstown

Beautique is a multi-award winning beauty studio located in Walkinstown that has been operating for over six years. 

They are currently preparing to move to a new high end luxury Beauty Studio in Fashion City Ballymount.

The Beautique team strives to be the best in their field through continuous training and keeping up to date with current trends in the beauty industry.

A spokesperson for Beautique said they are extremely grateful to be a finalist at this year's Best of Dublin Awards.

"We have the best clients anyone could hope for that have supported us continuously over the years and we owe our continued success to them."
