The countdown is on to 98FM’s Best of Dublin Awards. It's been our biggest year yet with over 780,000 votes cast for our 2017 finalists over the past fortnight.

The winners will be announced at our exclusive awards ceremony, which celebrates everything great about our city, on Tuesday May 23rd at The RDS.

Here are the nominees for Best Barber:

Mark’s Barbers

Located in Harmonstown, Marks Barbers is owned by Mark Heatley and has been open for the past 19 years. 

Speaking to 98FM, Mark said:

"I have 6 hardworking staff with a huge clientele. We open 6 days a week and have been told on many occasions that Mark's Barbers is the busiest barbers on the Northside. We take great pride in this."

Mark and the team are delighted to be nominated:

Hairlough Barbers

Hairlough Barbers opened their doors for the first time in 2006. They specialise in men's grooming services, products, and open razor hot towel shaves. 

They have two premises in Clondalkin - one on Ninth Lock Road and the second at Chaplin's Place in Rowlagh Village Centre. 

The Hairlough team are very grateful to be nominated:

"We are absolutely thrilled to be one of the finalists again this year in 98FM's Best of Dublin Awards."

Old County Barbers

Located in Crumlin, Clondalkin, Naas and Blessington, Old County Barbers has been operating for the past two years and have one very famous client - Conor McGregor. 

The team are looking forward to 98FM's Best of Dublin Awards next week:

"It's great to get some recognition  and to be involved. We would absolutely love to be crowned Best Barber. Thanks everyone who put this together."

The Grafton Barber

The Grafton Barber has been part of Dublin culture since 1946 providing services to Dublin gentlemen and their sons. 

They have 36 locations across Ireland, making them the largest family owned chain of barber shops in Europe.

Cut & Sew, Crow St & Wellington Quay
