The fabulous Katie Piper, who you'll know from all her campaigning and TV documentary after she had acid thrown on her face by an ex, has announced she is pregnant.
29 year old Katie and her boyfriend will welcome their first baby in 2014. There was a time when Katie didn't have the courage to leave her own home after the vicious attack but after years of plastic surgery and counselling, she is now a regular on our TV screens and she is over the moon to be becoming a mother.
Katie has tweeted “You've all supported me through bad time so I wanted to share some good news with you. I'm thrilled to say I'm expecting my first child”. She later tweeted “Overwhelmed by all the congratulations tweets and best wishes. Thank you so much. Has completely taken my mind off today's morning sickness”.
