The childhood nanny who helped raise Peaches Geldof has paid tribute saying she 'almost made it'
Speaking to the Mirror, Anita Debney said: 'She has been the greatest joy, the greatest blessing, the most tender part of my heart and soul. I loved her through the good times and the bad. We struggled and survived the darkest of times. She overcame so much and my love and appreciation of her indomitable spirit never wavered.
The joy we shared in her beautiful babies was so deep and meaningful and filled both of our hearts with love and devotion. She blossomed in motherhood and excelled at raising the sweetest, happiest babies in the world... You almost made it.'
Katie Hopkins has also opened up after the death of Peaches. They famously clashed on an episode of This Morning last year and lots of people questioned why Katie didn't tweet after she died. In The Star, she wrote: 'I refused to be part of this revolting spectacle. Peaches and I met once on a TV sofa in Central London. We were strangers and remained adversaries. Peaches didn't want a tweet from me. She didn't welcome it in life, she certainly didn't need it in death. She was tough enough not to seek approval from anyone.'
The 25 year old was found at her home in Kent on Monday - her body has now been released to her family.
