The Grand Budapest Hotel starring Saoirse Ronan has won best film in the comedy category at the Golden Globes.

Eddie Redmayne won best actor in a drama for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

And Amy Adams made it two wins in a row - she took the Best Actress award for the film Big Eyes.

George Clooney won the lifetime achievement award - and the star used his speech to pay tribute to his wife:
