Singer George Michael was rushed to hospital after his friend made a worried 999 emergency call.
Fans of the star have expressed their concern after it has emerged that two ambulance arrived at his London home and he was rushed to hospital. The 50 year old mysteriously collapsed early on Thursday of last week.
His agent told Chris Pollard of The Sun: ‘George Michael was in hospital for routine tests but there is nothing further to say.’
A worried fan tweeted her concern saying: 'What's happened to my beloved @GeorgeMichael? reports coming in say he's been rushed to hospital :-( (sic)'.
This is not the first time there have been fears for the singer's health. In recent years there has been a spate of illnesses, regular cannabis use and also the bizarre incident in May last year when he apparently fell out of a moving car on the M1. Following this George was rushed to hospital to be treated for a head injury.
