Everything You Need To Know Ahead Of Coldplay's Gig

From transport to stage times, we have you covered!

Coldplay are set to bring their Music of the Spheres world tour to Croke Park this weekend, which will mark their first Irish performance since 2017.

Chris Martin and the rest of the band will play 4 sold out shows from Thursday, the 29th of August to Monday, the 2nd of September.

Gate Opening and Stage Times

Croke Park Stadium will open its gates to ticket holders from 5pm.

Coldplay is set to take to the stage at 8:30pm with Maggie Rogers and Irish singer Aby Coulibaly performing beforehand.

Entrance information

There are different coloured entrance points depending on where you are seated which is stated on your ticket.

BLUE ROUTE (Hogan Stand): Enter via Jones Road and Russell Street.

RED ROUTE (Cusack Stand): Enter via St James Avenue and Foster Terrace.

YELLOW ROUTE (Davin Stand): Enter via St Margaret’s Terrace.

GREEN ROUTE (PITCH A): Enter via Josephs Avenue.

RED ROUTE (PITCH B & C): Enter via St James Avenue and Foster Terrace.

Getting There

MCD advised all attendees not to drive as there is no parking at the venue.

The following Dublin Bus routes serve Croke Park: 1, 6, 7(a), 11, 13, 15, 16, 27(a/b), 33, 40(b/d/e), 41(b/c/d), 42, 43, 44, 53a, 122, 123, 130, H1, H2, H3.

For those travelling by DART, both Connolly and Clontarf stations are a 30-minute walk away from the stadium.

The Luas stop at Connolly for the red line and Parnell or Marlborough for the green line are within walking distance.
