Electric Picnic may only be finishing up for 2017, but you will have to be on the ball to get your hands on tickets for 2018.
Festival Director Melvin Benn has revealed tickets for 2018 will go on sale soon.
There are no plans to expand the 55,000 capacity at the Stradbally site.
Benn said:”I could double the capacity but then people would say to me: ‘You’re spoiling the picnic.’
“So, I’m not doing that, I’m keeping it exactly as it is.
“It’s a popular show for all the right reasons, it’s been incredible this weekend, the spirit has been extraordinary.
“It’s a tough ticket to get so get it early because they will go.
“I’d love it to be bigger but it’s not the right time. I don’t know when that will be.
So there you have it folks the plans are well underway for 2018. We will keep you updated when the exact date is announced.
