Ahead of Halloween, Dublin firefighters are hitting the streets to raise awareness for National Fire Safety Week.
The annual event sees the men and women of Dublin's Finest take part in work shops across the city.
They also visit schools to address young children about fire safety.
To coincide with their workshops, DFB has announced the return of its art calendar competition in primary schools.
This year the theme is "WHAT CAN YOU DO TO STOP FIRE?"
If your kids like painting or drawing, we’d love to see their pictures. There are some great prizes up for grabs and a chance to meet their local firefighting heroes.
The 12 winning pictures will be included in our Fire Safety Calendar.
Prizes will be presented by the Lord Mayor of Dublin and local firefighters in early December. Each participating school could win cash vouchers with a grand prize of €500.
