Staff at the hospital say the tiger is in good health after performing a thorough health exam.

Dr. Jim Oosterhuis, principal veterinarian, said he believes the cub is between 5 and 6 weeks old, and expects him to teeth in the coming weeks.

The cub is housed in isolation as he requires around the clock attention.

Guests at the Safari Park will be able to view the tiger cub at the Animal Care Center’s nursery window.
