A Crumlin house has been crowned the winner of 98FM's Best Christmas Lights with Homebase. After over 22,000 votes for more than 30 finalists, Josie Leonard's house on Rathdrum Road has come out on top.
Cooper and Luke spoke to Josie's daughter-in-law Kim on 98FM's Big Breakfast this morning.
She explained that it takes two weekends to get the lights up outside and do the decorating inside.
Josie has been fascinated with Christmas for over 30 years and has been collecting decorations and lights for that long.
The whole family get involved in setting it all up and they’re all spending Christmas at Josie’s in Crumlin this year.
Local kids in the area come by every year to see the lights. Kim says she sometimes brings them out sweets as they’re standing out in the cold for so long.
Josie and her family have won a €2000 voucher from Homebase.
