So last weekend saw BBC Radio One’s 'Big Weekend in Glasgow 2014' take over Glasgow's famous George Square. Over 60,000 lucky music fans enjoyed loads of performances across the weekend of 23-25 May.
Acts performing over the weekend included the likes of Coldplay, Calvin Harris, Katy Perry, The Vamps, One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Bastille, Kings of Leon, and Pharrell Williams to name but a few!
The best surprise came for fans of Kings of Leon when front-man Caleb Followill invited Coldplay's Chris Martin on-stage for the performance of their hit song 'Fans'.
Chris mainly played guitar alongside Caleb, but he joined in to sing for the final chorus of the song.
