Here's our best pick of the best events on in Dublin this Saturday and Sunday...
Creative Quarter Summer Festival
When: Saturday August 26th (1pm – 8pm) and SundayAugust 27th(12pm – 6pm).
Where: Dublin's Creative Quarter area including Fade Street, South William Street and Drury Street.
What's on: Dublin Town and local business have come together to showcase the area with Dublin's Creative Quarter Festival. There's a jam-packed line up of events with on-street cooking demonstrations, fashion shows,comedy, pop up stalls from local businesses and even an out-door movie screening, and all for free!
Bringing music to this event, First Music Contact, organisers of the Hard Working Class Heroes, have arranged 12 of Ireland's top emerging Irish talent to perform over the two days.
A number of businesses including Fade Street Social, Saba, Duck, The Market Bar, WokIn and Platform61 to name a few, are participating in this event by offering a special promotions throughout the festival for either €8, €10 or €12. Creative Quarter tokens for these values can be purchased during the event from the Dublin Town Information Kiosk on Fade Street.

The Dalkey Lobster Festival
When: Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th August.
Where: Dalkey
What's On: The Dalkey Lobster Festival 2017 features Ireland's most exclusive crustacean in the premier Heritage Town of Dalkey.
Dalkey has over twenty eateries and six pubs as well as many outlets to provide visitors with the very best of produce and service. There will be twenty marquees lining Castle Street on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 6pm with food and produce, live street entertainment and fun for all the family with a Kids Zone.
There will also be lobster, prawns, crab claws, mussels and all kinds of seafood available with displays and demonstrations by surprise guests.
The Children's Medical Research Centre at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin is this year's beneficial charity.
Bark in the Park
When: Sunday at 3pm-5pm
Where: Phoenix Park
What's On: A sponsored dog walk route along the beautiful cycle track on Acres Road. Register today and don't miss out! There'll also be a raffle, music, goody bags and prizes for the dog with the Best Bark, Shiniest Coat, Happiest Smile and Waggiest Tail ! All funds raised will go towards the work of The Irish Blue Cross animal welfare charity.

Where: Newmarket Square
What's On: The flea market, which takes place on the last Sunday of each month, is full of vintage clothing, bric-a-brac and more.
