Bob Geldof has apparently proposed to his girlfriend of 18 years Jeanne Marine.
Her friend Jerry Hall reportedly revealed the news to the Daily Mail saying Jeanne has been ''a rock and a tower of strength'' to Bob after the death of his daughter Peaches.
An inquest into the death of Peaches will open later today - with reports suggesting she died from a heroin overdose.
