Gavin James Bitter Pill has won Irish Song of the Year at the Choice Music Prize.
The Dubliner beat competition from All Tvvins, The Academic and Hozier to take the honour, which is voted for by members of the public.
Jame was also shortlisted for Irish Album of the Year but that honour went to Derry teenager SOAK.
The 19 year old took the accolade for her debut, Before We Forgot How to Dream, beating nine other Irish acts.
U2's Adam Clayton presented SOAK with the 10-thousand euro prize on stage at Vicar Street last night.
