There's only days to go until the winners are crowned at 98FM's Best of Dublin Awards 2017. The exclusive awards ceremony, which celebrates all that is great about our city, takes place on Tuesday May 23rd at the RDS.

It's been our biggest year yet with almost 800,000 votes cast over the past fortnight.

Meet the finalists for Best Butcher:

Seezers & Sears, Citywest

Seezers and Sears is a family run business operating for the past five years that creates and supplies great tasting foods and top quality meats.

Patricia is a qualified baker and started working in the food industry at the age of 15. Her son, Brendan is a master butcher and together, with their personal styles and professional flair, they make a great team.

The duo are delighted to be nominated:

"We put the community at the heart of everything we do and are thrilled to be a finalist once again in the 98FM Best of Dublin Awards. Food is our passion and we want to share it with you."

Higgins Family Butchers, Sutton

Opened in 2013 by Rick, Higgins Family Butchers is described as a 'meat boutique' in Sutton. Rick has also released a range of coppa, bresoala, salami, chorizo and proscuitto under the Forage & Cure label with his collaborator, Antonio.

Kerrigans Butchers - Baldoyle, Malahide & Donaghmede

Brendan Kerrigan fell in love with the art of butchery over 60 years ago and learned his craft from just 13 years of age before setting up his own store in Donaghmede Shopping Centre in 1973.

Fast forward nearly 45 years and Kerrigans has established itself as an essential service for gym buffs and fitness fiends throughout Ireland thanks to Brendan's sons Shane and Barry Kerrigan. In 2015, they began delivering orders nationwide to cater for the demand for healthy, high quality, high protein products.

Troys Butchers

Troys Butchers has been been trading in the heart of Dublin's Moore Street for over 100 years, providing top quality meats derived from their family's abattoir in Co Westmeath at unbeatable prices.

The team at Troys are very grateful to be nominated in 98FM's Best of Dublin Awards 2017.

"We are delighted to be apart of the Best of Dublin Awards for the 3rd year in a row and are forever grateful to our loyal customers who nominated and supported us for the past 3 years throughout this competition."

O’Neills Butcher

O’Neills butchers is a small Locally owned family business that is run by a husband and wife that brings high quality meats from Irish family farms to your family's table.

Located in the heart of Mulhuddart Village, Dublin 15, O'Neills Butcher has been in operation since October 2016.

They are extremely excited for 98FM's Best of Dublin Awards:

"To be honest we are both over the moon being in business such a short time we never thought we would be nominated never mind make it to the final."
