Benedict Cumberbatch has used a newspaper announcement to reveal he's got engaged. The Sherlock star and actress Sophie Hunter feature in the "Forthcoming marriages" section in The Times today.
It reads: 'Mr BT. Cumberbatch and Miss S.I. Hunter: The engagement is announced between Benedict, son of Wanda and Timothy Cumberbatch of London, and Sophie, daughter of Katharine Hunter of Edinburgh and Charles Hunter of London.'
The couple were first spotted together at the French Open tennis in June.
