The one and only Adele, singing sensation, is set to join Simon Cowell on the hit reality show The X-Factor after top-secret talks.
Adele is said to be a huge fan of the show and has agreed to be a judge.
It is reported that Simon was eager to get her to join himself and Cheryl Cole this year, however unfortunately fans will have to wait until at least 2016 to see the Someone Like You singer in the hot seat as she is currently busy recording her third album.
She is promising to sign up in the next few years despite turning Simon down for this season.
An X-Factor source said: “Although no contract has been signed, Adele has made it clear to Simon she’s up for it when the time is right.”
Adele, who is only 26, is currently concentrating on the follow-up to her second album 21, which sold more than 28million copies worldwide.
The star has won ten Grammys, four BRITs and one Oscar in her short career. Makes it hard to believe she once stated she was too scared to audition for The X Factor in case she was rubbish! She has now assured Simon it will only be a matter of time before she joins the show.
Reports suggest Adele will release her third album this year.
Adele has been a big fan of the reality show in recent years making her the perfect judge to fit in to the team!
