There is something so comforting and timeless about the humble toasted sandwich. The lunch favourite is now being honoured with a big celebration in Bray next month.
Ireland's first Toastie Festival takes place from Friday, 3rd November to Sunday 5th November at Harbour Bar.
The event includes the restaurant's famous ham and cheese toasties, some adventurous fillings and free tea top ups. Dogs are also welcome!
A spokesperson said: "Visitors can snag a seat by one of the Harbour Bar’s roaring fires or cosy up out front for outside service."
It sounds like an afternoon well spent.
