A little boy in England has been billed £15.95 for not attending another child's birthday party after initially saying he could go.
5 year old Alex Nash wasn't able to attend his classmates birthday party and arrived into school on the Monday after to get this bill for a 'childs party no show fee'.
The Plymouth Herald shared the story saying that his dad, Derek, initially confirmed Alex would be attending, but then forgot about a day trip to Alex’s grandparents the same day that had been arranged previously.
Naturally Derek thought it was a joke but after confirming with the school realised it was serious.
Derek told the newspaper that he 'would have sympathised with her about the cost of Alex not showing up, but I just can’t believe the way she has gone around it'.
