The US Embassy has issued a safety warning to American citizens in Ireland.
It's after recent assaults in the city, including one which left an American citizen with life-altering injuries.
It cites a number of safety measures that visitors here should take.
They include being aware of your environment, avoiding walking alone and looking up locations before arriving among others.
Stephen Termini who was assaulted on Talbot St in Dublin a week ago, is still being treated in Beaumont hospital.
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with assault causing harm.
