Chief medical officer Tony Holohan says they're seeing high levels of compliance with the restrictions.

"We're at an early stage in the easing of restrictions. We're only ten days or so since the point at which we began to do that and now is not the time for people to get ahead of the advice we are giving and we think the great majority of the population are staying with us."
He went on to say there have been isolated incidents of non compliance but with the help of Gardaí they have been able to deal with the challenges.
