The site of the Vicar Street Hotel in the Liberties has gone on the market.
The Dublin 8 plot is located beside the well known Vicar Street music venue and has a guide price of in excess of €12 million.
Despite local opposition, planning permission was granted for an eight-storey, 185 bed hotel on the site in 2019. The plans include a rooftop bar and restaurant with outdoor terrace.
CBRE says the site presents prospective purchasers with an opportunity to work with the music venue. It says the hotel will host a VIP Club for artists playing at the venue and use of the facility for pre and post gig parties.
