Unvaccinated people are being advised not to travel abroad.
Restrictions on non-essential travel are due to be eased from July 19th.
The EU's digital green cert will act as proof that you're either vaccinated, have had a negative test or have recovered from Covid. This will enable you to travel abroad.
However the Chief Medical Officer has advised that if you're not vaccinated... you shouldn't go on holiday overseas in case you bring back a variant of concern.
The advice is also causing concern among families who want to travel.
Member of NPHET Dr Colm Henry says it's advice, not an instruction.
The 'Recover Irish Aviation' group says the advice is extremely unhelpful and another shot at the industry.
