Folks,
98FM's weekly sports show "Now That's What I Call Sport" airs every Sunday morning from 9-10am.
Presented by myself Johnny Lyons, this week's show broadcast on Sunday February 2nd features the following guests :
1. Keith Wood - Arguably Ireland's most famous rugby baldie, Lions and Ireland legend Keith regales us with his comprehensive preview of Ireland's opening Six Nations match of the season against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
It's Brian O'Driscoll's last season in pro rugby and many would lurve to see Ireland's greatest player of his generation go out on a high with another Grand Slam to his name.
Woody gives his unique perspective on the match and views on the destination of the Championship this season.
2. Charlie Redmond - An All Ireland winner with the Dubs, Chas will be glued into the Dubs' first game of the new Allianz League season against Kerry at Croke Park on Saturday night.
The Boys in Blue will be looking for another clean sweep of the trophies open to them and Charlie throws his eyes over the performance of this new look Dubs selection.
And Chas wonders aloud about the vampiric urges which have gotten into the Dublin players with Jason Whelan suspended for biting!
I'm assured there's no truth in the rumours that the Kerrymen are coming to town armed with crosses and garlic!
3. Conor Pepper -
As part of a new series on young Irish abroad, Jamie "Choon" Moore talks to Irish starlets who travel to the UK and further in order to fulfil their childhood dreams of being a pro footballer.
Conor describes his early days over in Scotland and recalls his sensational debut as he was sprung from the bench to net an incredible last gasp equaliser against Hearts!
A definite case of Salt n Pepa!
There will also be a couple of interview packages - first up a Winter Olympics compendium and then a 6 Nations opening game of the season special.
Competition :
6 Nations Ireland rugby gear to give away with thanks to Elverys Sports.
Thanks,
Johnny.
