Kirstie and Phil's Love It or List It - Channel 4 8pm.
After over a decade entertaining us by knocking on walls and making us dream of properties that we can't afford on 'Location, Location, Location', Kirstie and Phil have decided to freshen it up by combining a house hunting show with a renovation show. MAGIC! Yes, their banter can grate a little but, come on, for those of us who will never be able to afford a house, this is the vicarious house hunting/ D.I.Y show needed to satiate your appetite. The premise: one half of a couple wants to move so Phil goes house hunting, the other wants to stay so Kirstie renovates their house. At the end of the process they decide if they love their spruced up house and want to stay or if they want to list it and buy one of the houses Phil has found. So simple. So addictive. Tonight, Michelle wants to sell up and leave her Bradford bungalow while partner Andrew wants to stay.
Big Brother: Timebomb Launch - 3e 9pm/TV3 10pm
Four years, for four glorious years we got away without having this bottom feeding, lowest common denominator, strychnine for the eyes television show on TV in Ireland but it's back.... and I'm obviously gonna watch it. That bit where they show us people sleeping; riveting. The 15th year of this version of the show is subtitled Timebomb with host Emma Willis saying that "Days will turn into nights, time will stop, rewind and tasks will get turned on their heads,” Contestants range from 19 year old Joel Williams who is Wales' youngest councillor (oh yeah, Prime Minister material right there) to 24 year old Jade Martina-Lynch, above, from our very own city who lives a polyamorous lifestyle (they do know polyamorous doesn't mean slut, right?) 29 year old Danny Wisker who is best mates with someone from Geordie Shore to 51 year old Eileen Daly from London who was on the X-Factor.
Prime Time - RTE 1 9.35pm
Consistently a programme that brings national scandals to light, tonight the show focuses on some of the countries unsolved murders.
The Good Wife - RTE 1 10.15pm
6 years on from its debut, the quality of this show is remarkable. The drama, pace and up to date themes has never dipped for one minute. If you have never watched it, get on Netflix as soon as you can because it is amazing. Tonight, Cary's freedom is at stake as his pretrial service officer interviews his colleagues to see if he should remain behind bars. Beware, Kalinda and Cary's messed up, engrossing and chemistry laden relationship will get you HOT.
Set Your Recorder for: Outlander - RTE 2 11.20pm
Based on the best-selling time traveller novel series of the same name by Diana Gabaldon, the story sees protagonist Claire Randall (played by our own Caitriona Balfe) transported from 1945 Britain to 1783 Scotland. Rather than absolutely freaking out and getting burned as a witch, she goes with the flow and stands up against the patriarchal norms that inform her new world. Along the way, she happens to have to get married Jamie MacKenzie Fraser, who is an absolute ride, to save her from being imprisoned by the evil English - oh yeah, they're the bad guys. The Scottish accents are real so you won't want to punch American actors in the face, the scenery is pretty damn beautiful and, my lord, the chemistry and sex scenes between Claire and Jamie will make you want to find Dr. Who's tardis. Tonight, Jenny and Claire set out to find Jamie who has been taken by the redcoats when they learn that he has been tried and awaits execution at Wentworth prison.
