Eurovision Song Contest Semi-Final - RTE2, 8pm

They really know how to drag the arse out of the Eurovision these days, don't they. We're on night 2 of 3 with Ireland's entry Molly Sterling performing second tonight. What that does to her chances, I have no idea. The theme for this year's Eurovision in Austria is building bridges which is interesting on the night that Israel perform considering their Prime Minister barely stopped a proposal to ban Palestinians from buses with Israeli passengers..... but maybe I'm going off topic. Best of luck to Molly who was on The Ray Foley Show this morning. You can hear it here. Expect sequins.

The British Soap Awards - UTV Ireland, 8pm.

If you're not into gratuitous displays of flesh, sequins and fake tan then, tough, because on the other side we have the British Soap Awards. They were held last Saturday so if you're into soaps, you probably know the winners but still, there'll be Philip Schofield.

Mad Men - Sky Atlantic, 10pm

After innumerable affairs, millions of fags and hundreds of acceptable drunken meetings in the office, Mad Men draws to a close tonight. In a show that has mapped the social mores of the past with an eye on the present over the past 7 seasons in 8 years, can the finale live up to the hype?

Set Your Recorder for: Real Steel - RTE 2, 10.05pm

If I said the words boxing, robots, future, emotional disconnect and love you'd probably think, feck off but this movie is quite good. In a world where human boxers have been replaced by robots, Hugh Jackman attempts to create a champion out of discarded parts all the while trying to kick start a relationship with his son and get some sexy time with Evangeline Lily. If you're too wreaked from all the fireworks at the Eurovision, this might be the perfect placebo to work out your feelings about campaigners during the lead up to the referendum. There will be fighting. Oh, and expect to get attached to CGI robots.
