...that will be repeated on Irish TV during our bank holiday next week.

Ireland Says Yes - TV3, 9pm

Fair play to TV3; these days, no sooner has something happened in the country than they have a documentary ready to go, the quality of which is normally very high. Tonight they recap the amazing weekend and the story of how Irish citizens voted overwhelmingly in favour of same-sex marriage. Expect a lot of Vincent Browne with drag queens -something that should be apart of our everyday lives - and celebratory scenes from Dublin castle where the above photo of Leo Varadkar was taken. No idea if he's going to appear in the footage but, my lord, does he look good and I thought that you should know. Hope he got the shift.

Roland Garros - Eurosport, ALL FRICKIN' DAY..... it's a beautiful time to be alive.

God, I love this time of year. We go from the French open, into Queens & Bournemouth and then Wimbledon. You'll actually have something to watch for the next month and a half. Just turn the TV on mute to forgo the grunting and have 98FM on your radio. (Correct English: Have 98FM on on the radio. It's a mad language)

Avengers Assemble - BBC1, 8pm

Joss Whedon has long been a god to me for creating Buffy and Angel; my Thursday nights were a complete write off when I was a teenager. In writing and directing Avengers Assemble he managed to bring god like creatures such as himself, together.... and give us the line above which still makes me laugh on the 54th viewing. Perfect way to recuperate after the mass celebrating at the weekend.

Game of Thrones - Sky Atlantic, 9pm

Soooooo.... GoT had an interesting reaction last week when someone was violently raped and the fans were, for once, not impressed. They are working off their own script this season and not from GRR Martin's novels so no one has a clue what's coming for once. Can they regain fans favour? Tonight, Jamie tries to reconnect with family like he would love to reconnect with his hand and Jon is getting ready for a fight.

Set Your Recorder for: Episodes - BBC2, 10.30pm

This is just a very watchable show... I know, been banging the drum a few times on this one. Tonight Beverly goes to a Golden Globes gift party and Sean's old writing partner Tim, who hates Beverly, is back in town. Elsewhere, Matt starts getting on with his ex-wife.

I'll be right here, you can listen with one ear.
