Selfie - RTE2, 7.30

Why am I actively promoting a programme that was cancelled in America after a wet minute? Purely because RTE bought it. Why would they do that? Why would you give people a programme that has no hope of a future in their lives? The most likely scenario is that it cost RTE 9 cent and they have to get rid of their coppers before they go out of circulation.

The story is based on My Fair Lady which in its turn was based on the George Bernard Shaw play 'Pygmalion' which in itself is based on the Greek myth. So, it's been around longer than Gazza's drink problem. The modern twist revolves around Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillen) who is obsessed with achieving fame through social media. After a boo-boo, she enlists the help of marketing image guru - Lord help us - Henry Higgs (John Cho)

Exams: Cheating The System? Channel 4 Dispatches - Channel 4, 8pm

Leaving Cert students, this might be the last thing you want to chill out watching tonight but it looks excellent. Rote learning is proving to be a problem for education systems everywhere and through freedom of Information requests & interviews with whistle-blowers, Seyi Rhodes and the dispatches team uncover the lengths students and teachers will go to get marks, the extent of plagiarism in the system and the tricks to altering grades. Fascinating. 

Game of Thrones - Sky Atlantic, 9pm

If you're a GoT fan you know what tonight is; the last episode in season 5. Drogon is flying... do we need more. Well, yes because this season has been a bit hit and miss. Is tonight's episode gonna have you running for the soothing tea before bed because you're so wound up or have you bitching to everyone you meet tomorrow? Only a matter of hours to find out.
