Tristian McManus is a bleedin' brilliant dancer and the producers of Strictly Come Dancing were like, we want a piece of THAT on the show. I may have made that up in my mind but that's how I'd feel if I was one of them. The Bray man was dancing his socks off in the American version of Strictly with the likes of Pamela Anderson when he was poached for the show on this side of the Atlantic.
We didn't get to see much of him last year as he was eliminated with partner Jennifer Gibney, from Mrs. Brown's Boys, fairly lively. On Saturday nights show he was partnered with Jamelia and is now 3rd favourite to win the competition this year behind Peter Andre and Jay McGuinness from The Wanted. The Ray Foley Show chatted to Tristian about his dancing, what goes on behind the scenes in the tangoed sparkley world of Strictly and the McManiacs, which is what his fans call themselves. They have a whole website dedicated to him and it is..... intense.
Hopefully we'll be catching up with Tristian when he and Jamelia win the glitterball trophy.... yes, I love Strictly.
