Man Calls For Back To School Allowance Should Be Scrapped.
This morning on Dublin Talks we spoke to a man who wants to see the back to school allowance (the allowance given to parents to help them with the costs of sending their children to school) scrapped.
He told listeners that it's far too generous, it doesn't exist in other countries and that parents should be able to fund their own childs education without looking for handouts.
